Posted by The Next Wetherspoon on April 07, 2018 11:23:55 Miata owners have been waiting for an answer on the upcoming Miata E, and now, it’s here.
The Miata Forum is set to launch in Japan tomorrow, and if you’re interested in buying a Miata, the thread will be open until May 6.
The thread, which has been active since early April, has been updated to include a list of specifications and the date for the Miata’s official launch.
We already know that the Miatas will use the same platform as the current Miata line-up, and we can assume that it’ll come with the same powertrain as the E. But this time around, we can also expect to see some of the most advanced connectivity and features the car has ever seen, such as wireless charging, an audio system that will come with an integrated amplifier, and an adaptive cruise control system.
Miata forum member peterkennig, who has been posting about the Miota E on the forum for more than a year, is the first to reveal that the forum will be running a pre-order window.
The pre-orders will open tomorrow, May 6, and will last until June 30, 2020.
There’s no word on when we can expect to find out what’s in the car, but as long as there’s a preorder, we should have an answer before then.
