New York Giants star wide receiver Steve HOFFMAN is out indefinitely with concussion

New York (AP) Giants receiver Steve Huffman is out for the season with a concussion.

Hoffman was hurt during a September 16 preseason game against the Carolina Panthers and suffered a concussion during the game.

He did not play against the Denver Broncos in the regular season finale on Oct. 3.HOFFMAN’s father, Chris, told the Associated Press his son was “a rock,” and said he would never have a repeat injury.

Huffman is a six-time Pro Bowler who has caught 76 passes for 1,095 yards and eight touchdowns.

He has been selected to four Pro Bowls and is one of the NFL’s best wide receivers.

He is the first receiver to catch a game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowls II and III.
