How to get a firearm on the streets of Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — It was a quiet Tuesday night on the Los Angeles streets.

The neighborhood’s main thoroughfare was quiet.

But a few hours later, a car pulled up to the curb and opened fire, killing two people and wounding nine others.

Police responded to the shooting around 11 p.m. and found the bodies of two women and three men, ages 20 and 24, inside a sedan, according to police and the coroner.

Authorities found no gun in the vehicle.

No one was arrested in connection with the shooting.

But police released a photo showing the suspect and the woman who was found inside the car.

The shooting took place about a block from the intersection of West Main Street and Central Avenue.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a light complexion.

He wore a blue jacket with a gray shirt underneath, dark jeans and a black baseball cap, according and the police report.

He was described as being between the ages of 20 and 30.

Police said he may have been driving a white or black sedan.

Police also released the name of the victim.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office said she was the daughter of two men.

She was found dead in the passenger seat of the car, according the report.
