Ducks, Blues meet to swap goaltenders for goaltending

Ducks have been shopping goalies for months.

They’ve traded away veteran goaltenders Matt Murray and Anders Lindback, both of whom are set to become free agents next month.

They also have three other goaltenders who are under contract through 2019.

This week, they’re looking to add some competition in goal, with a trade involving former Edmonton Oilers backup Jake Allen.

They have two other goaltending prospects in Corey Perry and Taylor Hall, as well as two goaltending veterans in Alex Lyon and Antti Raanta.

And they’ve also been shopping forwards, with the Ducks signing Niklas Backstrom and Jake Allen to contracts.

Here’s a look at the latest updates from the Ducks, their goaltenders, and other players involved:Goalies Goalie Jake Allen, 25, Minnesota, 4-0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and .926 save percentage in 14 games with the Wild last season.
